Special Projects

SpectoWise launched its next-generation data aggregation and data analysis services to a very positive response in late 2006. Dozens of Fortune 500 corporations, financial institutions and insurance carriers have now seen the power and flexibility of our new enterprise-level data analysis services. SpectoWise is actively working with several companies to design custom-tailored data analysis services for them.

Several companies have asked if SpectoWise could provide a different kind of service and SpectoWise has listened and responded!

These corporations have asked if SpectoWise can supply its advanced data analysis services on a fixed-price project basis rather than under its subscription model, and the answer is – absolutely!

Examples of these kinds of projects are as follows:

Case One: An insurance carrier has asked if SpectoWise can compare its claims database against its marketing database to determine if the carrier is effectively marketing its services. SpectoWise has the ability to do this, as SpectoWise databases are not limited to accepting legal and claims data alone.

Case Two: A corporate legal department is struggling with five different legal e-invoicing and matter management systems due to a series of mergers and acquisitions. These systems are completely dissimilar and deploying a new system will take years and millions of dollars. SpectoWise has the capability to very quickly and effectively extract and aggregate data from all these legal financial systems to offer a “moment in time” snapshot of the company’s legal financials post-merger.

Case Three: A corporation implemented a new legal e-invoicing and matter management system in 2005 but the reporting aspects of the new system are less robust than they expected. SpectoWise can address issues with their existing system as well as substantially augment what they originally hoped for by also including sources of reporting legal data not envisioned in the original plan. Their existing vendor is not able to work with these additional data sources.

Case Four: SpectoWise met with an insurance carrier that already uses Hyperion as a business intelligence reporting tool but they have another problem – they generated plenty of reports, but they have no idea what the reports mean and how best to use them. They asked if SpectoWise can help advise them on the best to use Hyperion or SpectoWise’s own reporting tools to better utilize the reports they are already generating.

All of the above are projects SpectoWise can assist with on a fixed-price project basis.
